Appointment Types
Your therapist will select the appropriate type and length of appointment to meet your needs. New appointments are usually 60 minutes. Review appointments may be shorter and will be charged accordingly. Appointments are made in the name of a specified client, and are not transferable.
Appointment Costs
Our costs are advertised on our website and may change from time to time. If you are unsure of the cost or type of appointment then it is your responsibility to ask us at the time of booking your appointment. Costs of any equipment you wish to purchase from us is not included in the appointment price.
Arriving at the Clinic
We do not have a receptionist, so please take a seat in the waiting room on arrival. We operate a prompt schedule and will aim to see you at the time of your appointment. A late arrival will mean that your time is reduced, but you may still be charged the full price of treatment. If you arrive late for your appointment then we will try to see you if possible, but if you are more than 10 minutes late then it is possible that you may need to reschedule.
Results of Treatment
At Yasp we strive to offer you effective, evidence based therapy in order to meet your agreed goals. However, we recognise that many different factors can impact on personal outcomes, and we make no guarantees regarding the outcomes of treatments.
Clothing
The physiotherapist may ask you to remove items of clothing, e.g. shirt, but they will not ask you to remove your underwear. If you have a leg problem then you may wish to bring shorts to change into. If you have a neck or arm problem then you may wish to wear a vest.
Mobile Phones
Please turn mobile phones to silent during class sessions.
Mobile phones may be used during individual treatment sessions, however please be aware that their use during an appointment will reduce the amount of treatment time available.
Payments
Payment is due in full on the day of each individual appointment.
Payment for blocks of class sessions is due in advance and class bookings are not confirmed until payment is received.
Payment Methods
We accept cash, cheques, Mastercard, Visa, Applepay and Maestro. We do not accept American Express.
Cancellations
To cancel an appointment please call 01595 747074 leaving a message with your full name, therapist’s name, and the date and time of the appointment to be cancelled. Please call as soon as you know that you need to cancel in order to allow us to rebook the slot.
If, due to unforeseen circumstances, we have to cancel your appointment we will use the contact details that you have provided. It is your responsibility to let us know if your contact details change. If possible we will offer you an alternative, e.g. an appointment at a similar time with a different therapist. If this is not acceptable to you or is not possible then we will offer you an appointment with your therapist at the first available opportunity. We take no responsibility for the cost of travel to cancelled appointments or for any other associated costs.
